French Dip

4 lb Rump Roast

10 cloves Garlic

1 14.5oz can Beef Broth

1 10.5oz can Condensed French Onion Soup

12 oz Beer

1 tsp Worchestershire

Salt & Pepper to taste

French Bread for serving

Mayo for serving

Swiss Cheese for serving

Red Onions, sliced, for serving

  1. Trim excess fat from roast. Cut evenly spaced small slits all over roast and insert garlic cloves
  2. Place roast in slow cooker & sprinkle with salt and pepper
  3. Add remaining ingredients
  4. Cook on low for 6-8hrs until meat is tender
  5. Cut roast into thin slices (or shred)
  6. Put on toasted French bread with mayo, swiss cheese, & red onion. Use jus as dipping sauce
  7. Enjoy.
