1/3 cup Neutral Oil
3 Yellow Onions, sliced
2 Tbsp Sweet Hungarian Paprika
3 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/2 Green Pepper, sliced
3 lbs Beef Stew Meat
6 oz Tomato Paste
1 1/2 cups Water
1 clove Garlic
- Heat oil in dutch oven over medium heat
- Cook onion until soft & remove.
- Combine paprika, 2 tsp salt, & pepper
- Coat beef & brown beef in batches in dutch oven, adding a bit of oil if needed
- Return onion & remaining ingredients to dutch oven
- Reduce heat, cover, & cook on low, stirring occasionally, for 1.5-2 hrs
- Pour over egg noodles, add sour cream, et al.
- Enjoy.
