1 Cup Sugar, divided into 2, ½ cup
3 Cup Milk, whole
4 inch Cinnamon stick
4 eggs
1/4 tsp Salt

  1. Melt 1/2 Cup Sugar in skillet over Medium heat, stirring constantly until golden brown
  2. Pour syrup into 8″ round baking dish, rotate to coat bottom of pan
  3. In a saucepan, heat Milk and Cinnamon stick until scalded
  4. Let cool slightly and remove cinnamon stick
  5. Beat the eggs and salt, gradually adding remaining 1/2 Cup Sugar and beat thoroughly
  6. Stir in the cooled milk
  7. Pour into caramel coated baking dish
  8. Bake in bain-marie @ 325F for 45min
  9. Chill
  10. Enjoy.
