Everything Oil

2 Tbsp Red Chili Flakes
2 Tbsp Szechuan Peppercorns
2 Tbsp Gochugaru Chile Flakes
1 Tbsp Kosher Flake Salt
1 cup Grapeseed Oil
2-inch Ginger, peeled and finely chopped
4 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped
2 Star Anise
1 Cinnamon Stick

  1. In a heatproof bowl, add the chile flakes, Szechuan peppercorns, gochugaru flakes and sea salt
  2. Place oil, ginger, garlic, star anise, and cinnamon in a small saucepan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes
  3. The oil is ready when it looks thin, like water
  4. Remove from heat and pour the hot oil into the bowl with the spices. It will sizzle and spit. Allow to cool
  5. Stir before serving
  6. Enjoy.
