Sausage Gravy

1 lb Sage flavored Sausage

2 Tbsp Onion, finely chopped

6 Tbsp AP Flour

1 quart Milk

1/2 tsp Poultry Seasoning

1/2 tsp Nutmeg, ground

1/4 tsp Salt

Dash of Worchestershire

Dash of Hot Sauce

  1. Cook sausage in skillet over medium-low heat
  2. Add onion, cook, & stir until transparent
  3. Drain, discarding all but 2 Tbsp of drippings
  4. Stir in flour & cook over medium-low heat until mixture bubbles & turns golden (~6min)
  5. Stir in milk
  6. Add seasonings & cook until thickened, stirring frequently
  7. Enjoy.
